For Teens

Support That Makes Room for Who You Are

If school feels overwhelming, motivation comes and goes, or emotions feel bigger than you want them to be, you’re not alone.

At The Practice Ground, coaching for teens focuses on building skills that help with focus, organization, emotional regulation, and follow-through - without pressure to be a certain way or perform on demand.

This is a space where you can slow things down, make sense of what’s hard, and practice skills that actually help in daily life.

What We Might Work On

Teen sessions often include:

  • Getting started on tasks (and finishing them)

  • Managing school stress and overwhelm

  • Emotional regulation and impulse moments

  • Planning, organization, and time awareness

  • Navigating friendships, communication, and boundaries

  • Building confidence and self-trust

We may use movement, mindfulness, or body-based practices to support focus and regulation - always adapted to you. You don’t need to be athletic, flexible, or experienced.

What This Space Is Like

  • Respectful and collaborative

  • Curious, not judgmental

  • Practical and grounded in real life

  • Focused on skills, not fixing

You’ll never be asked to share more than you’re ready for, and you’ll have a say in how sessions go.

Getting Started

Coaching for teens works best when there’s collaboration between the teen, parents, and (when appropriate) school or clinical supports.

If you’re curious, we can start with a conversation to see if this feels like a good fit.
